has produced
hand-crafted luxury mattresses and boxsprings. From it's humble beginnings
as a single store in Cedar Rapids Iowa making mattresses and upholstering
furniture, this company has grown to become one of the most recognized names in
bedding in the Midwest. Lebeda Mattress was founded by Jim Lebeda in 1946. Over
the years, he developed a loyal clientele by producing high quality products at
affordable prices.
While the national brands were finding ways to make mattress sets more cost
effective, he focused on building quality products, one at a time, which really
met the needs of his customers. Although Jim retired in 1986, you can still see
the same type of handcrafted quality in the products Lebeda Mattress Factory
