Are memory foam mattresses flippable?

Most memory foam mattresses are not flippable. Memory foam is a type of foam that conforms to the shape of your body and provides excellent pressure relief and support. These mattresses are typically designed to be used with the memory foam layer on top and a firmer base foam layer on the bottom. Flipping a typical memory foam mattress would mean that you are sleeping on the harder base layer instead of the plush memory foam layer.  This is very uncomfortable and may affect the overall performance and longevity of the mattress.
